This month the Beef and Burgundy Club travelled to the Breakfast Creek hotel.  Again the meal and wine totalled $50 per person.

The Breakfast Creek Hotel is arguably the most famous watering holes in Queensland and one of the most iconic in Australia. It’s more than just a venue – it’s a major destination in Brisbane, popular with local, interstate and international visitors, one of the best loved in the city.

Our function co0ordinator Jo organised a fantastic dinning event.  We had a private dinning area which featured a private BBQ and Chef.  Our Chef Mel has been cooking steaks at the Breakfast Creek Hotel for over 29 years and estimated that she would cook at least 1,000 perfect steaks a week.  Her Jedi like steak skills were able to cook all of our steaks perfectly to order and explained how she was able to distinguish how different cultures liked their steaks cooked.

The evening continued and concluded in the new rum bar, which contained far too many delicious rums.IMG_1158
