Canberra Chapter

Founded in 2015, the aim of the Canberra Chapter is to bring the fine traditions of the BBC to our fair capital.

Each month, a different pair of beef and wine connoisseurs are entrusted with the title of Beef Master and Wine Keeper and must select a venue with a suitable pedigree in beef and wine for the monthly meating.

The monthly venue should be able to accommodate the three goals of the BBC: fine wine, great meat and better conviviality. Members in attendance assess the wine and beef served to them and rate the venue against previous venues, with the aim to be to find the year’s best venue. Members are also assessed on their ability to pick the variety, year and region of the evenings wine as well as the key attributes of the evening’s meal.
