On 1 September 2016 the BBC settled into the beautifully cosy Escobar, located in New Farm.  This wonderful restaurant and bar serves up delicious food with an equally impressive drinks menu.

Our members were spoilt with three courses of delectable delicacies, including fried ricotta gnocchi served with truffled mayo, and the most tender slow braised beef cheeks the BBC has ever encountered!

To complement the amazing food was a smooth McLaren Vale Cab Shiraz (2010 Geoff Merrill).  Extra chocolate brownie for desert (and a few extra bottles of the wine) were enjoyed by all.

The only thing better than the food at Escobar is the wonderful staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a great night.  Special shout out to Lee for looking after us.
If you need to host an event, want a quite dinner for two, or are interested in some of Escobar’s events including a weekly trivia night, be sure to check out their website and Facebook page (http://www.escobarkitchen.com.au/#homeAnchor).
